FOLDE + SONDER has always been about deep, authentic connection—to ourselves, to each other, and to nature. That’s why finding the right home was so important.

From the moment I arrived at The Sussex Shala knew: this is it. Our Studio perched high with expansive views of the South Downs, the Long Man of Wilmington watching over us, hedgerows alive with birdsong, and the occasional sheep grazing nearby—it’s pure magic.

As we move into warmer days, now is the time to book your treatment in this truly special setting.

WHERE DO I FIND YOU

You will find Folde + Sonder STUDIO residing alongside The Sussex Shala, Warren Farm, Wilmington.Please use the full address into your maps as the postcode is shared with other houses.

Warren Farm, Thornwell Road, Polegate, BN26 6RL.

As you approach the main entrance, turn down the gravel driveway marked by a ‘Warren Farm’ sign and a wooden yurt logo signpost visible from the road. Keep to the right, following another wooden yurt logo sign into the farmyard (not towards the house).Turn left, where you’ll see The Sussex Shala sign, and park in the designated area. From there, walk down the footpath next to the barn. Just before reaching the Yurt, bear right onto the larger path and walk up the hill. The Studio is just beyond, with stepped access leading to the entrance.

Due to our remote location, the ground to the FOLDE + SONDER STUDIO, can be undulating and we ask you wear appropriate footwear. The elevated nature and structure of the STUDIO is such that access is via a stepped platform, up into the STUDIO.

The short answer is: not very many!

The FOLDE + SONDER STUDIO is designed to be a secluded and immersive experience and our compact size means there is no toilet. However, there is a toilet and washroom facilities on site, in close proximity to the Studio. We have a small kitchenette, where we can offer you a warm herbal tea and refreshments.

Some of our treatments have been designed to take place in our armchairs. As such, there is no need to undress. We ask our guests to wear loose comfortable clothing, so our therapists can with ease, perform our massage sequences and hot stone placement, moving clothing aside where necessary.

Within our single treatment room, their is privacy to undress for our treatment experiences on our bespoke- made massage bed.

Please email us directly to enquire about a group booking and availability. We would be delighted to welcome small to medium sized groups. Our STUDIO interior is compact, and we would need to organise together treatment options / timings to make your experience unhurried and memorable.
